From 1994 to 1996 Eric Edmeades founded and published the weekly Success Express Journal, the first internet-based magazine focused business and personal development. The first issue was sent out to a small group — around 10 — of Edmeades’ friends and grew to a readership of 15,000 people in 70 countries. This are not big numbers in today’s internet market but they were significant in the early days of the internet.

The e-zine, as these publications would later be called, included articles, interviews, book and seminar reviews and other features.

Edmeades, now a well-known entrepreneur and international speaker, wrote articles in every issue. During this time he was an IT sales person for Ryzex, an American data capture company. Most of his articles were focused on the practical application of personal and business development topics — a sort of ‘day in the life’ of personal development.

Edmeades also reviewed books and seminars — at least one in every issue — for the entire run of the weekly magazine.

During this time he was an IT sales person for Ryzex, an American data capture company. Later he founded The ITR Group, a wireless integration company which he sold some years later. He now speaks internationally, undertakes philanthropic projects and runs Adventure Seminars(TM) in exotic locations around the world.

Another popular speaker, Dr. Topher Morrison (known then as Wayne Morrison), joined the magazine and wrote a regular feature called Tips from the Top. Dr Morrison is a clinical hypnotherapist and author.
